For The Next Lesson
- Read Ephesians 2:11-13. Paul asks the Ephesians twice to remember several things in this passage. List all the things they were to remember. Try to describe the significance of each one of these things. According to verse 13, what happened to change their lives?
- Try to make a list of things you could remember about yourself before you came to Christ. Now try to say how your life has been changed as a result of verse 13.
- Read each of the following passages two or three times: Ephesians 2:14-18, Acts 1:8, Luke 24:45-48, Matthew 28:16-20 and Galatians 3:26-29. In one or two paragraphs write a statement explaining what this means to all Christians, including what our attitudes should be toward other people groups.
- Honestly try to ascertain what attitudes or other changes you need to make in your life to conform to this type of true Christianity.
- Read Ephesians 2:19-22. According to this passage, what are you now and what were you before in relation to God? According to this passage, you are a building block of a holy temple.Who else is part of this temple and how should that make us feel toward other believers and people in general?
