For The Next Lesson: Ephesians 1:15-32
1. Read Ephesians 1:15-16. Explain why Paul prays for the Ephesians. Intercessory prayer is a powerful and effective tool. Are there people in your life you should be regularly praying for, and if so, what should you be praying?
2. Read Ephesians 1:17-19a. List four things Paul prays for regarding the believers in Ephesus and say in your own words what each means and how it might change a person’s life or view of God if this happened. Is this something that would be beneficial for your loved one you pray for or for you? If so, in what way?
3. Read Ephesians 1:19b-23. List as many things as you can find in these verses that demonstrate God’s power. Try and say how they demonstrate power and how each one might have an effect on your life personally.
4. What do you think God wants you to learn or change from studying this prayer?
