Core Values

1. As a church we embrace seven core values. We value: Biblical Truth, Growth, Family, Community, Missions & Outreach, Worship and Team Ministry. As you read through these core values, why do you think these seven values are important to our church? Which value do you think is the most important? How do you think we are doing as a church in living out these values?

2. Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17. According to these verses, who is the source or author of the Bible? What is the Bible useful for (take the time to list the uses)? Why is it important that the Bible is an integral part of our church and our personal lives? How can you grow in making the Bible a more central part of your life?

3. Read Acts 1:8. According to this verse, what should our church and each of us as Christ-followers be a part of? Where should we be doing this? What should this look like in our church? What should this look like in our personal lives? How are you doing in personally living out this mission that God gives us?

4. Read Ephesians 4:11-16. As you read this passage, what sticks out most to you? Who accomplishes the ministry of the church? Why is it important that everyone does their part? What do you think happens when the members of a church body are not doing their part? What is the overall goal of each member of the body doing their part? How would you summarize this passage in one sentence?

5. So what? As you consider our church core values and these passages of Scripture, what is one thing you can take away that applies to your life? How can you grow in your walk with God?
